Coach Howell has been a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association for over 30 years and founded the Georgia Professional Tennis Association. He was MVP and Captain of his Vanderbilt Tennis Team in 1970-71. He leads a great staff consisting of other professionals and collegiate players.
Coach Howell will direct a staff consisting of other tennis professionals, coaches, and college players who will actively work with each junior player. Coach Howell is hands on in leading drills, strategy sessions, and critiquing match play and takes a personal interest in each camper regardless of their level of play – beginner or advanced.
Felix Mann joins the staff as Head Instructor. Felix has worked previously with the Camp and is presently Assistant Tennis Coach at Rhodes University in Memphis. Playing at Oglethorpe University, he was twice named All-Conference and finished 3rd in voting for Player of the Year! We are delighted to him join the staff this summer.
